Crear una cuenta
Ve a www.instructables.com. Introduce esta URL en la barra de direcciones y se te dirigirá a la página web de Instructables.
Haz clic en el botón Sign Up (registrarse). Es un botón amarillo que está en la esquina superior derecha. Este te dirige al formulario de registro.
Haz clic en el botón Sign up with email (registrarse con correo electrónico). It's the yellow button near the bottom of the card.
Alternatively, you can sign up via Autodesk, Google or Facebook. To do this, click Continue with Autodesk, Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Choose your region, date of birth and role. Use the provided forms to choose these. Click Next to proceed.
Enter your email address, userrname and password. Use the provided textfields to enter these. Perform a CAPTCHA check, agree to terms of service and privacy statement. Click Next to proceed.
Verify your email address. Go to an email service and open the Instructables email you received. Click the orange Verify now! to verify your email address. This will open a new tab for verifying your email address.
Creating an Article
Click the + New button. It's a yellow button to the left of avatar, at the top-right corner of screen.
Select a title, cover image and category. Use the provided textfield to enter the title, and upload a cover image, then choose a category and channel.
The categories and channels are listed as follows:
3D Design, 3D Printing, Cars, CNC, Electric Vehicles, Energy, Furniture, Home Improvement, Home Theater, Hydroponics, Knives, Laser Cutting, Lighting, Metalworking, Molds & Casting, Motorcycles, Organizing, Pallets, Repair, Science, Shelves, Solar, Tools, Woodworking, Workbenches
Enter an introduction. Use the textbox to enter an introduction of the project. It should be at least 2-3 sentences. Upload at least one image to the introduction section.
Enter the supplies. Use the textbox below "Supplies" to enter the supplies needed for the project. Optionally, upload a image of supplies.
Write steps. Choose a title for a step and use the textbox to write a step. Upload images and, optionally, supporting files. Click Add New Step + and repeat the process until finished.
Click Publish. It's a yellow button at top-right corner. This will take you to choose a license and, optionally, keywords.
Choose a license. On the dropdown, under "Copyright License", select a license. The default license is Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike, but you may select another license.
Add keywords. Use the textfield below "Keywords (optional)" to enter the desired keywords. This is optional, but highly recommended for search engine optimisation (SEO).
Choose a contest. This is optional, but can be useful if you want to win prizes.
Click Publish Now. It's at the top-right corner of the window.
Finished! The Instructable article is now published. However, this may take a while for the article to be reviewed and published live.
